Dr. Tom Rocchio welcomes you to his new practice, conveniently located near St. Lukes Hospital in the west end area of Allentown, Pennsylvania.
Specializing in complete foot and ankle care, Dr. Rocchio has been treating patients in the Lehigh Valley area since 2003. A 2000 graduate of Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine, he completed surgical training in reconstructive foot and ankle, limb lengthening, diabetic charcot reconstruction, and pediatric deformity correction at the Community Medical Center in Scranton, PA, under world renowned surgeon, Dr. Guido LaPorta. Furthermore, Dr. Rocchio completed a mini-fellowship in Biomechanics of External Fixation of the foot and ankle at the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for pediatric orthopedics in Dallas, TX.

A nationally recognized lecturer on foot and ankle surgery, Dr. Rocchio is also an author on the biomechanics of circular external fixation in the foot and ankle. Dr. Rocchio is one of two designers of a unique external fixation frame utilized by hundreds of foot and ankle surgeons across the United States. A Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and a Fellow of the American Professional Wound Care Association, Dr. Rocchio is also Board Certified in foot surgery & rear foot and ankle reconstructive surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery.
Among his areas of expertise are pediatric deformity (club foot/flat foot/intoe/etc), trauma of the foot and ankle, adult deformity correction (including those associated with diabetes, severe arthritis, and trauma), sports medicine, ingrown toenails/nail fungus/athletes foot, surgical correction of bunions/hammertoes/etc, and routine foot care (including diabetic patients).
Known for his approachable demeanor, Dr. Rocchio prides himself in both gentle elderly care as well as an excellent rapport with pediatric patients. Add this to a remarkable resume of both office and surgical care, and it becomes apparent why Dr. Tom Rocchio’s practice is a welcome addition to the health care options for the northeast area of Pennsylvania.
